COGO

COGO was developed by an MIT professor in the early '60s and is still widely used by surveyors and civil engineers. Now about 40 years later there are so many things that call themselves COGO, it's hard to say what it is any more.

I am the author of EXCELS COGO and still sell and support it. If you know it from long ago, you know it's the one you want. If you haven't seen it in years, you'll be pleased to see that it has improved still more since you saw it last. It now stores elevations and remarks with its points, it plots to your screen as well as to plotters, it has new commands for writing descriptions, stake out, finding points, fitting measured points to previously computed points, and more.
